Pilgrimage

Schools in India are called 'Vidhyalaya',

means temple of knowledge,

where one search for the Truth.

I am on pilgrimage to schools,

traveling to meet child god of school

and priest, devotee gathering around.

Not just to observe, to seat on back benches

but to participate and share the delight of learning

I am on pilgrimage to school.

Crossing plains,mountain, river and inhibition

of all image and concept of minds, while

I am on pilgrimage to school.

There are many questions in mind,

many desires in heart, I forget all

when child god play, share & learn alongside.

I am not looking for facts or answers,

just want to feel Lord's Presence, when

I am on pilgrimage to school.

would you like to be part of my pilgrimage,

to wish and make our school,

dwelling place of living God.

Would you give some space & time in your temple,

to pray, worship and do service,

to gods and goddesses of your temple.

 

 

Dear friends,

On 8,January 2016 I went to puducherry for celebrating and getting guidance on my 30th birthday. 

While leaving home, there was a thought to travel across India for whole year were also there.

Few incidents and experience made that thought into a force. A movement begin and things got arranged and still getting arranged.

Its now, when I have taken a pause from the traveling, yet journey is going on. Following days, I will try to put forth my observations, experiences and questions which arose in my first phase of journey, a pilgrimage. However, Everything didn't started with same intention and zeal. Nor this words were there, few things shaped them into current form and with some certitude, I know they are shaping and will shape future course too. 

 

First I went to my own Master's place, puducherry. As per Indian tradition of Guru Grahya siksha [learning at Master's place]. From there I visited Hyderabad in transit towards my main destination kechla,koraput, odisha. Where I had offered to give service for two month in school specially made for tribal children of that place. Transitory visit to Hyderabad, sawed some seeds for infinite vision, which took its root and came out as plant in Odisha. Many things, ideas came down and few things started moving, in return journey. I visited Hyderabad again and got chance to be with kids at two different, unique schools in Hyderabad. 

 

Pune, my next halt before reaching home was full of surprises. Where I got chance to reflect, read and experience as well meet wonderful people. There too, for a short while visited a school. Towards end of my visit, I thought to quit this journey and give up this stupidity. 

 

I returned back and meet few other people on consecutive days, travel around mumbai. This encounter, made me realized that it's not a time and place to put full stop on this pilgrimage. Rather it is an comma, to pause, reflect, share, learn and gather more for future journey. 

 

Before I begin to write down anything further, I thank with folded hand, a humble gratitude to all hands who supported and who didn't, to all whom i know and i don't know, those whose hands were visible and not visible. Thank you so much. Also to all the places, where I had been and about them I might write. I put forth my apologies in advance, if by any means i hurt or say something in this mode. Intention of this writing is just to share and put forth some questions, pertaining to education. With the hope that this question, helps us to formulate as well as lead us to deeper answer and solving them from the root. Also doing so may enable us to carry on our journey towards ultimate goal.
